What cut do you take when I sell a card?
None — sellers keep every cent of their price, on every sale. Buy now purchases are paid through Grails and held until the card arrives, with a small payment-protection fee paid by the buyer at cost; chat-arranged sales stay settled directly between you. Your subscription is the only thing a seller ever pays us.
Is the free plan really free?
Yes. Tracking your collection is free forever — unlimited cards, cloud backup, PSA cert links and CSV import/export — and so is the buying side of the marketplace: browsing, buying and messaging. No credit card required to start. Selling is the Premium part: listing cards comes with the subscription.
If there is no commission, why is selling a paid feature?
Something has to fund it. A flat subscription does that without scaling with the value of your cards: a collector selling a A$5,000 slab pays the same as one selling a A$50 common, and neither pays more for a good month. A percentage would mean the better your year, the more we take. This way what we want is for you to sell, not for you to sell high.
Is it safe to buy from someone I do not know?
It depends how you pay. Buy now purchases are protected: Grails holds the payment until the card arrives, and if it never does, the money never reaches the seller. A chat-arranged sale is a private deal — payment goes directly between the two of you, with no protection behind it, which is why every conversation opens with a payment warning. Either way you get messaging that keeps your email and number out of it, reviews only our server can write, and a report button on every listing, profile and chat.
What happens after my free month?
Premium renews at A$14.99 a month, on the date your free month ends. Cancel any time before then and you are charged nothing at all. Cancelling moves you to the Free plan and takes nothing away — your collection, your sold history and everything you have added stay exactly as they are. The free month is one per account.
Can I switch between monthly and yearly?
Yes. You can change your billing interval at any time; yearly billing saves you over half compared with paying monthly.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Cancel whenever you like and you keep access until the end of your billing period, then drop back to the free plan.
What happens to my data if I downgrade?
Your data is always yours. You can export your full collection to CSV at any time, and your cards stay tracked on the free plan.
